Wuxi's Taihu International Exposition Center saw not only exhibitors and visitors on Oct 30, the first day of the World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT), but also crowds of graduates cramming into the job fair at Pavilion B3.

Organized by the Wuxi government, the job fair featured 200 booths offering more than 3,000 posts at IoT firms. Most attending firms were local enterprises engaged in research and applications within the IoT industry. Others were also exhibitors at this year's WIOT.

More than 5,000 people attended the fair including high-level IoT personnel touting considerable work experience, as well as recent university graduates, some of which were participants of the third National College Competition of Internet of Things (IoT) held in Wuxi on Oct 31.

Wang Bo, a 28-year-old job seeker who has been working in an IoT field for some years, expressed his wishes to find a job with a promising salary, after having already laid a solid foundation in the industry. He told a reporter that he had learned about the job fair from the official website for WIOT, and held high expectations for the future of the IoT industry.

The job fair, held as part of the WIOT, expected to attract many top talents contributing to the development of the IoT industry in Wuxi, said organizers of the fair.
