The second group of 133 medical workers from Wuxi, Jiangsu province who helped treat patients in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, returned to Wuxi by air on March 31.
Wuxi Party Secretary Huang Qin and Wuxi Mayor Du Xiaogang led a group to welcome these brave souls home at the Wuxi Sunan Shuofang International Airport.
Huang expressed his respect and gratitude to the 133 medics for risking their lives to treat patients. He also asked all of them to take a good rest to recuperate and build up energy.
Ge Huanqing, director of the second team of medical workers, was happy that all his team members made it home safely. He also thanked the local government for its strong support and backup.

The first group of Wuxi medics, who returned on March 17, finished their period of medical observation and were released from quarantine that same day.
Huang visited the team and asked about their health and living condition over the past 14 days. Huang said they deserve respect for their work on the frontlines of the epidemic.
A total of 169 medical workers from Wuxi were sent to Hubei to assist local medical workers there. They helped treat patients, train local workers, and study the epidemic for about 50 days. They performed admirably in the battle against the novel coronavirus.
