Binhu district is located in the southwestern part of Wuxi, with an area of 592.7 square kilometers and a lakeshore line of 108 kilometers along Taihu Lake.
It has rapidly developed in recent years, forming a modern industrial system engaged in the advanced manufacturing industry, modern service industry, newly-developed industry and cultural tourism.
It also has a full historical and cultural background, with Buddhist culture, screen culture and landscape culture.
Binhu district has ecotourism resources, featuring the world-famous Lingshan Grand Buddha, Yuantouzhu Isle, Nianhuawan Scenic Area, Plum Garden Hengshan Scenic Area and Lihu Lake.
