Magiclab Robotics Technology, headquartered in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, made a notable debut at the inaugural Global Embodied Intelligence Summit in Silicon Valley, the United States, on April 29, by launching its self-developed "World Model" — Magic-Mix.
This prestigious global summit in the field of embodied intelligence attracted leading international researchers, representatives from tech companies and over 1,000 AI developers.
The model comprises two core engines: Magic-Mix WAM, which handles the understanding of physical environments, spatial reasoning, and motion decision-making; and Magic-Mix Creator, an offline data generation engine that can synthesize training data in bulk, expanding high-quality data to over 1 million hours and achieving a 10,000-fold increase in data volume through data synthesis.
Gu Shitao, president of Magiclab Robotics, said that the World Model complements the VLA large model, enabling humanoid robots to comprehend the physical world, anticipate environmental changes and make informed action decisions grounded in physical common sense.
At the conference, the company also introduced the MagicHand H01, a dexterous hand featuring 20 degrees of freedom and 44 high-resolution 3D tactile sensors, along with its flagship humanoid robot, MagicBot X1.
Currently, Magiclab has completed a comprehensive product lineup of humanoid and quadruped robots, with operations spanning 50 countries and regions worldwide and generating over 60 percent of its revenue from overseas markets.
Gu revealed at the conference that the company's long-term objective is to achieve $14 billion in revenue. Over the next five years, they plan to invest $1 billion to establish a secondary development ecosystem for robots, advancing "Made in China" to a leading position in the global embodied intelligence industry.
Wuxi, as a major national hub for equipment manufacturing, has developed a complete industrial chain for robotic core components. According to the implementation plan for the development of the embodied intelligent robotics industry from 2025 to 2027, Wuxi aims to exceed an industrial scale of 30 billion yuan ($4.38 billion), gather 200 companies and create no fewer than 300 typical application scenarios by 2027.
