Enterprises from Wuxi, Jiangsu province, set off for Urumqi, a pivotal hub city involved in the Belt and Road Initiative in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, on June 25 to participate in the ninth edition of the China-Eurasia Expo.
Running from June 25 to 29, the expo features the participation of over 2,000 enterprises and organizations across 27 countries and regions. It offers a prime opportunity for domestic businesses to strengthen their foothold in the Central Asian and Middle Eastern markets and to further enhance economic and trade cooperation under the BRI framework.
Representing Wuxi National High-tech District, the delegation showcases key industrial clusters, including integrated circuit memory chips, new energy and environmental protection equipment, biomedicine and medical aesthetics, automotive parts, and modern services. The district highlights its breakthroughs in advanced fields such as new storage technologies, sodium-ion batteries, and high-end medical devices.
Xishan district is presenting a comprehensive product lineup featuring complete vehicles, motors, and controllers. It is also expected to host a special industry promotion conference during the expo, bolstering its reputation as the Hometown of Chinese Electric Vehicles.
Moreover, the Donggang double-faced woolen garment market has joined forces with the Haining fur, Pinghu down jacket, and Honghe sweater industry clusters. Together, they represent the Yangtze River Delta region's apparel industry belt. They have secured 200 square meters and five special booths to showcase their premium products.
