The Wuxi Commercial Space and Spatial Information Technology Exhibition 2026 was held in Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province from June 25 to 27, drawing over 300 industry representatives and nearly 300 companies nationwide.
The event focused on the commercialization of the aerospace industry, fostering a new ecosystem for the integrated space information industry.
The exhibition showcased a comprehensive industrial chain, highlighting key areas such as low-orbit satellite constellations, small-satellite production, and reusable rocket systems. These align with Wuxi's strategic development in commercial aerospace and also integrate the strengths of local enterprises in integrated circuits, high-end equipment, and internet of things.
Wuxi's innovation achievements in aerospace were highlighted, with various districts presenting their latest developments. The conference included nine specialized events covering technological innovation, investment, and industry-academia collaboration, promoting the transformation of aerospace technologies and scaling industry growth.
The city has developed a robust commercial aerospace cluster, with 325 companies in the sector by the end of 2025. It saw a 21.5 percent revenue growth in the first quarter of 2026. Key projects and innovations in satellite solar energy systems were unveiled, showcasing Wuxi's leading role in the industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The event also marked the launch of the Jiangsu Aviation and Aerospace Industry Alliance, with its secretariat based in Wuxi, and the Jiangsu Photovoltaic Industry Association Space Photovoltaic Committee, aiming to integrate photovoltaic technology into space applications, reduce costs, and extend satellite operational duration.
