I had the wonderful opportunity to experience the inaugural Jiangsu Basketball City League, widely known as "Su BA", at the Wuxi Sports Center Gymnasium on Sept 5, together with my friends Mudassar Maqsood and Usman Ali. As a student at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, I saw this not only as a basketball match but also as a memorable cultural experience that allowed me to connect with the local community and feel the passion of the city.
The stadium was filled with passionate supporters. Fans wearing pink shirts and holding banners created an unforgettable atmosphere. Their energy showed the strong connection between the people of Wuxi and basketball.

When we entered the venue, we immediately felt the excitement. The lights, music, cheering crowds, and competitive spirit transformed the match into a celebration of sports and community.
The match between Wuxi and Lianyungang was highly competitive. Wuxi showed great determination and led 47–46 at halftime. However, Lianyungang made a strong comeback in the second half.

For me, this experience was much more than simply watching a basketball game. It was an opportunity to immerse myself in Chinese sports culture, understand the passion and dedication of local supporters, experience the vibrant lifestyle of Wuxi, and create unforgettable memories with my friends.
The excitement inside the stadium, the enthusiasm of thousands of fans, and the competitive spirit displayed by both teams allowed me to experience a unique and meaningful side of life in China.

Living in Wuxi has given me many valuable experiences, and attending this basketball match became another special memory in my journey. Watching the game together with my friends, sharing our excitement, and witnessing the incredible atmosphere created by the fans made the evening even more meaningful. These moments remind me that some of the best memories during student life come from experiences outside the classroom.
The Su BA event also showed me how sports can bring people from different backgrounds together. Regardless of language or nationality, everyone in the stadium shared the same emotions: excitement, support, and love for the game. This sense of connection made the experience unforgettable and deepened my appreciation for Wuxi's culture and community.
