Zhongshan Road in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was transformed into the city's open-air "living room" from Sept 25 to 26, as the "It's Time" market brought Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations to the street.
A nearly 400-meter stretch of the road, from Renminzhong Road to Xianqianxi Street, featured themed recreational vehicles, debut pop-up stores, 60 lifestyle market brands and outdoor art spaces.
Works by artists, including Andy Warhol, were moved from galleries onto the street, alongside Wuxi intangible cultural heritage such as fine embroidery and bamboo carving. Over two nights, parades, stage shows and interactive performances invited residents and visitors to rediscover the city's old commercial heart.
