An online platform integrating information distribution, video broadcasting and live streaming across Wuxi was officially launched by the local government on Sept 21.
Named "Our Wuxi" (Chinese: 吾锡), the platform http://www.ourwuxi.com enjoys a catchy name which sounds the same as its host city Wuxi in Chinese.
It is designed to bring out the best and most authentic "flavors" of Wuxi, and serves as a major channel to tell Wuxi stories and display Wuxi charm.
With the city's beautiful landscape and profound culture as its background, the platform can be easily accessed via computers and mobile devices, and consists of 10 categories including "Eye-catching Wuxi", "Prosperous Wuxi", "Living Wuxi", "Tasty Wuxi", "In Wuxi", and "Wuxi People".
"Eye-catching Wuxi" focuses on the city's endless efforts to develop into a human, business and environmentally-friendly society; "Prosperous Wuxi" depicts the city's endeavors towards industrial reform and innovation; "Living Wuxi" offers full display of the city's life and culture through pictures, aerial videos and live actions; and "In Wuxi" is an English channel introducing Wuxi's latest developments.
The platform also highlights its strong connection to "Our Jiangsu" (Chinese: 我苏), a provincial online platform which is aimed at bringing in Jiangsu's information in an all-round way. The two platforms will cooperate to support the Jiangsu Development Summit, an extravaganza for former Jiangsu resident from across the world to exchange and collaborate on development projects in the province.
