More than 100 paintings by students from the international sister cities of Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province won awards at the Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest 2021.
Fourteen of the entries from Wuxi received the first prize, 35 were honored with the second prize and the third prize went to the remaining 52 paintings.
Themed "The World In My Heart", last year's contest encouraged participants to express their wishes for the building of a global village using their painting brushes.
Since the inception of the contest in 2016, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Wuxi Municipal People's Government has invited 593 primary and secondary school students from its international sister cities to attend the contest and the office has received the "excellent organizer award" for five years in a row.
