"The CPC's policies have helped Hodo Group become a smashing success," said Zhou Haijiang, Party secretary of Wuxi-based Hodo Group.
Founded in 1957, Hodo Group is a textile and garment giant in Jiangsu province, which also makes rubber tires. It is one of the top 100 private enterprises in China.
No one could have expected that a small workshop built by three farmers 65 years ago would grow into a multinational employing about 100,000 workers.
It isn't hard to see that Hodo's success wouldn't have been possible without the CPC's effective policies.

Over the past 10 years, Hodo has carried out supply-side structural reforms, sought new drivers of development, and accelerated transformation and upgrading, noted Zhou.
The group's labor-intensive garment-processing workshops have been transformed into intelligent workshops with production efficiency increased by 40 percent and delivery time reduced by 50 percent.
Its rubber tire workshop has been upgraded into a dark factory, a new type of smart factory that can operate efficiently even in the dark without any light.
The intelligent factory for high-end anti-tumor agents invested in by Hodo has also been put into operation. It is expected to produce 20 million anti-tumor injectants and 100 million anti-tumor solid preparations and generate over 1.5 billion yuan ($222.36 million) per year.
During the COVID-19 outbreaks in Wuhan in 2020, Zhou also mobilized CPC members in Hodo to produce protective clothing and shipped 650,000 pieces of protective clothing to the city.
