Wuxi in Jiangsu province will offer discounted and free tickets to local attractions and arrange more than 300 activities to celebrate the approaching Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 10 this year.
From Feb 9 to 17, Lingshan Mountain scenic area, the Three Kingdoms City and Town of the Water Margin scenic area will each offer 3,000 free tickets per day, the 5A-level scenic area Yuantouzhu and 14 other attractions will require just half-price tickets, and 28 other attractions including the Wuxi Museum will be open to the public free of charge.

From Jan 21 to Feb 28, cultural facilities in the city plan to organize over 110 activities, including exhibitions of calligraphy, photography, and paintings.
From Feb 10 to 25, over 30 folk activities will be held throughout the city, including a temple fair in Nanchan Temple and couplet-themed garden parties at Donglin Academy.

To greet both the Spring Festival and the Lantern Festival, which will be celebrated on Feb 24, local authorities will also put on lantern and firework shows from Feb 10 to 25.
More other activities, including performances, bazaars themed on Spring Festival delicacies, and culture and tourism festivals, will be expected during the upcoming holiday.
