I visited the Wuxi Second People's Hospital on April 24, which is also the Jiangnan University Medical Center. Since the establishment of this multinational medical organization on March 16, 1908, it has been 117 years of generation after generation of people in the second courtyard with the theme of hope and life.

Li Kele, an American medical Anglican missionary, founded the hospital. It was the first hospital in Wuxi, the name of which was Puren Hospital, before it was later renamed Sunan Public Wuxi Hospital in November 1951.
The modernization and renaming continued to what can be referred to as a world-class hospital today with exceptional robotics surgery services, AI-oriented internet hospital services, and an International Medical Department offering translation services, foreign food, and multilingual staff for foreigners in China, a department that can be found in just a few hospitals.
The visit was solely about perceiving Chinese healthcare and building a healthy future.
