The installation of the steel framework for the commercial zone in Phase III of Wuxi Olympic Sports Center in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, was finished at the end of June, marking a new milestone in the project development.
The Phase III project is a support service hub within the Wuxi Olympic Sports Center, covering a total area of 95,000 square meters. Once finished, it will function as a comprehensive commercial center, catering to the needs of both spectators and businesspeople.
At the same time, Phase I construction is advancing. Currently, the exterior engineering work, such as the metal roof and curtain wall system, is nearing completion.
The Phase II project, consisting of a 60,000-seat comprehensive sports stadium and an 18,000-seat indoor stadium, has also seen new developments.
The comprehensive sports stadium is the most magnificent structure in the entire complex. Currently, its cable net structure has entered the lifting stage while stepping into the 18,000-seat indoor stadium, one can see the initial form of the spectator seats.
Wuxi Olympic Sports Center is expected to showcase its full exterior facade by 2025 and aims to be completed and put into use by 2026.
