The World Humanoid Robot Games, the first of their kind in the world, officially opened in Beijing, capital of China, on Aug 14.
The opening ceremony showcased robot formations representing 280 teams from 16 countries, all eager to compete in 487 events across four categories: competitive, exhibition, scenario-based, and peripheral from Aug 15 to 17.
Among the competitors are Standard Robots (Wuxi) Co, MagicLab Robot Technology (Wuxi), and Chengdu Galaxy Power, a company with strong ties to Wuxi.
Established in 2016, Standard Robots (Wuxi) has become a global leader in industrial intelligent mobile robot solutions. The company empowers smart factories by providing solutions for various industrial scenarios and boasts the capability of deploying over 2,000 robots in a single simulated environment.
The games provide a vital testing ground for robots, where real-world scenarios filled with unpredictable factors challenge their adaptability and autonomous decision-making capabilities. Standard Robots (Wuxi) is participating in the scenario-based competitions, focusing specifically on factory and hotel environments.
