A delegation of 24 social media influencers from over 10 Latin American countries visited Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province for a three-day field trip from Sept 11 to 13.
These influencers, whose creative fields span food, tourism, film, fashion, and technology, aimed to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Latin America.

During their visit, they explored the Jiangsu Live E-commerce Industry Innovation Service Base to experience Wuxi's advancements in live e-commerce. They also visited the 5G smart virtual photography joint laboratory at Wuxi Studios, where they were immersed in the video presented on a curved LED giant screen.
Argentinian film actor Juan Gervasio Minujin said, "Everything here deeply impresses me. Wuxi's strength and forward-looking vision in film technology are admirable. Witnessing the technological innovation taking place in China's film industry and the fusion of tradition and modernity, culture and technology, has been truly inspiring."

The delegation also visited Jiangnan University, where they sampled specialty products developed by the university's School of Food Science and Technology, including wheat beer and fermented rice buns. At Yadea Technology Group Co, the visitors were drawn to a portable electric scooter with a one-click folding function. "I hope these electric two-wheelers will be exported to Peru soon. I would definitely buy one," said Peruvian lifestyle vlogger Eduardo Esteban Meza Leon.
Viviana Siles Pena, a lifestyle vlogger from Costa Rica, expressed her admiration for Wuxi after two days of exploration, saying, "Wuxi is both a small and a big city." While it may be compact in size, it boasts impressive technological advancements. In the interview, she also highlighted the city's cleanliness and the friendliness of its residents.
This visit is in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the China-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States Forum.
During their stay in Wuxi, the delegation also attended the opening ceremony of the eighth Forum on Dialogue between the Civilizations of China and LAC, along with related sub-events and cultural exchange activities.
