Wuxi Sports Park, originally known as Wuxi People's Stadium, was established in 1954. It spans 110,000 square meters, with green spaces making up 44.5 percent, and includes an underground parking lot covering 20,000 square meters.
The park's ground level amenities include a full-sized swimming hall, gymnasium, athletic and football fields, a children's playground, gate ball court, tennis courts, and an area for sports equipment exercises. Additionally, its snooker hall has been the venue for five World Snooker Wuxi Classic tournaments and various World Cup events.
