Blue Marlin has returned after departing Wuxi for a couple of years. Blue Marlin is a restaurant chain with live music and outdoor dining.

HBO Studio Restaurant & Bar

Opened and run by a veteran of Wuxi's restaurant business, HBO offers Western food overlooking the canal. The staff all speak English and the head chief is an expat. Their top floor is an excellent room for holding private parties.

Levan Wine Cellar

Opened by the California Red Wine Group, this restaurant serves authentic aged steaks with a large selection of wines.

Located on the first floor of the Kempinski Hotel, this German restaurants and bar has live music and brews its own beer.

The most famous Peking duck is in Beijing, obviously. But if you're craving Peking Duck, Quanjude's duck is pretty good. Quanjude is a national chain of Peking duck restaurants.

You can't say you've had Wuxinese food until you've had Wuxinese sauced chops. Sanfengqiao is the best-known place to eat it.
