The city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province held a health run featuring "Scientific Bodybuilding" on Nov 7.
The run, organized by 10 entities including the Wuxi Sports Bureau, the Wuxi Labor Union and Wuxi Daily, has been held two times earlier this year, on May 9 and Aug 8, attracting over 10,000 people.
Despite the cold weather, more than 4,800 participants gathered in Taihu International Expo Center Square early in the morning and ran for 5.6 kilometers.
The organizer prepared a red scarf for every participant to ward off the morning chill. "Though not expensive," said Aunt Li, one of the runners, "the scarf really makes me feel warm."

As the seventh Chinese Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition (CREC 2015) is ongoing in Wuxi, many participants also entered the Taihu International Expo Center during the run to learn about the latest renewable energy achievements.
There were many fitness programs along the road where people took part in exercises and enjoyed various performances.
