Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province held its 13th Party congress on Sept 26.
Wang Quan, mayor of Wuxi, presided over the meeting. Li Xiaomin, Party secretary of Wuxi, delivered a speech to review the city's achievements over the past five years and unveil plans and targets for the next five years.

Wang Huanchun, secretary of Wuxi's discipline inspection committee, also delivered a report on the city's discipline inspection work over the past five years and its future tasks.
New standing committees for the municipal Party committee and discipline inspection committee will be elected and announced on Sept 29. The new leadership teams are expected to turn Wuxi into a stronger, wealthier and more beautiful city.
