Classroom experiences have already been renovated in recent years seeing the transition from paper learning materials to multimedia, but what about cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) technology being introduced to classes?
A demonstration lesson featuring VR technology at Taihu New City Primary School, affiliated with Wuxi Normal School, on Jan 5 may probably answer the question.

More than 20 students wearing VR headsets were soaring through the galaxy while the class teacher, Liu Huibi, a research member from a professional domestic VR education software provider "VR School", kept sending digital images to the VR glasses via a background device.
"Which planet do you prefer most?"
"I feel like Earth is the most beautiful one," a boy answered loudly removing his VR glasses, "It has diverse colors and its surface is covered with atmosphere making it as if we can amazingly walk on the air freely."

According to Liu, the VR headgear enables students to have an all-round look at all the stars and planets upon turning their heads. They can even press a button to fly onto a planet where information about the planet will show up.
Liu hopes this deal will be a sign of more interesting options to come. If Liu has her way, schools will be providing students with a brand new learning mode sooner than you know it.
