An exhibition telling the 3,000 history of chopsticks has opened at Xindong International Square in Wuxi's Binhu district.
Chopsticks (kuazi), which used to be called "zhu" in ancient times, were invented by China and then became popular all over East Asia. Chinese people have been eating with chopsticks for at least 3,000 years.
The exhibition features 800 pairs of chopsticks and chopstick-related products dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), including more than 180 styles and materials.
The exhibition is hosted by Wuxi Chopstick Research Office and is open to anyone who wants to visit.
