Wuxi's Plum Garden is about to turn into a multicolored sea of bright tulips, as 80,000 of the flowers are currently blooming in the garden, 21 days earlier than last year.
Tulip is the national flower of Holland, and also the featured flower of the Plum Garden. The century-old garden, five kilometers away from downtown Wuxi, started to plant tulips almost 20 years ago. Now it is home to 200,000 tulips of 27 varieties, including Dynasty, World's Favorite, and Ile de France.
