Tens of thousands of people made a beeline for Turtle Head Isle (Turtle Head Isle) scenic area to attend the launch of a new cartoon and animation festival last weekend.
The festival is becoming the most popular part of the annual Wuxi Taihu International Cherry Blossom Festival, which takes place at Turtle Head Isle each year and this year runs from Mar 16 to Apr 20.
The first two days of the festival have already featured appearances from eight popular internet celebrities performing exciting Japanese songs and dances. Visitors have also been attracted by the array of tasty snacks and comic-related products on offer.
