Registration for the annual Wuxi Taihu Lake Hike is set to begin at 10 am of March 30. The event map has also been released yesterday. Read the following key information again in case you miss the registration.

Start point: Taihu International Exhibition Center, Qingshu Road, Wuxi
Number of participants: 10,000
Routes: beginner group - 10 km; standard group - 30 km
Registration: begins at 10 am on March 30, April 1, and April 5. Individuals should find the event WeChat page at "活动啦平台" (huo dong la ping tai) and register by providing name, gender, age and ID card or passport number, and pay the registration fee online.
Registration Fee: 30 yuan ($4) for the beginner group and 50 yuan ($7) for the standard group
Gear pick-up: Participants should pick up their backpack from 10 am to 8 pm on April 30 or May 1. Participants must remember to bring ID cards or passports. The gear backpack includes hiking clothing, hiking booklet, and a sports drink.
Award: All hikers that finish the event within the specified time limit (2h for the beginner group and 5.5h for the standard group) will receive a souvenir medal.
