Sweet-toothed fans of Roald Dahl's children's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will soon be able to visit the real thing, after the Wuxi government approved the building of a chocolate themed park in the city.

Named after its Shanghai counterpart, construction on "Chocolate Happy Land" will start in the first half of this year.
It will be only the country's second chocolate themed park featuring an amusement park, aquarium, and an animation recreation center.

Located between Zhaqiao and Yingyuehu Park stations on Wuxi Metro Line 2, the park will cover more than 33,000 square meters upon completion.
It is expected to become a new landmark in the region.
