Table tennis Olympic champions Wang Liqin and Ma Lin appeared in Wuxi Yaohan Store, Jiangsu province, on April 16 for an event titled "2017 Happy Table Tennis", a charitable activity centered on the theme of table tennis culture.
Sponsored by Chinese Table Tennis Association and Evergreen International Holdings Limited with Wuxi Yaohan Store and Wuxi Huayuan Primary School, the activity was focused on developing passion for the sport, encouraging team work, and championing sporting spirit.
The two Olympic champions, Wang Liqin and Ma Lin, played table tennis with student delegates from Huayuan Primary School and their fans with special tools such as spatulas. Later, the two individuals presented books and gifts to the students and encouraged them to work harder at table tennis.
The program 2017 Happy Table Tennis is a wide scale cultural promotion that will tour around the country promoting table tennis.
