After retirement in 2008, she chose to further her study and was admitted to Shanghai Jiaotong University with excellent performant for a master's degree in Sports training education.
During that time, she attended the exam held by Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Bureau. With confidence accumulated in many games and strong professional ability, she eventually become a member of police.

Because of her special relationship with table tennis, Wuxi Public Security Bureau selected her as the police liaison officer in the event.
