Bird fighting is a popular folk game in the south Yangtze River delta area. This Monday, thousands of bird raisers from cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Wuhan were attracted to Chaoyang Temple Square, Xinwu district of Wuxi for the most exhilarating 2017 East China Bird-fighting Competition.
More than 5,000 finches showed their abilities in fighting and chipping in the event.
