Some 200 Chinese celebrities returned to their hometown Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on May 21 to take part in the Jiangsu Development Summit, a series of events to celebrate the amazing progress that has taken place in the region during the last three decades.
Famous business leaders such as Tang Yingnian, chairman of the Federation of HK Jiangsu Community Organizations, Yung's Enterprise Holdings Chairman Rong Zhijian and Hodo Group CEO Zhou Haijiang were among the stars attending the event, as was the former principal of Peking University, Xu Zhihong.
The famous former Wuxi residents were given a tour around their old hometown, sharing their life stories and exchanging ideas about the city's future development as they went.
