An extra 500 bicycles specially designed for mother users have also been put into use bringing great facility for those carrying a small child. Between the bicycle handle and saddle installs another small saddle, handle and cross bar for children's use.
The bicycle, designed by China's famed bicycle brand Phoenix, features an aluminum body, adjustable saddle, mud guard, holding brake and solid tyres, offering a comfortable riding experience. There is even a mobile phone holder at the bike front, though it is still not recommended to use your mobile phones when riding a bike.
The bikes can be unlocked by downloading and registering with the mobile app 地铁便民 (pinyin: ditie bianmin), followed by scanning the QR code on the bike – the app can also be used to travel on the Wuxi metro.
