With Duanwu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival, around the corner on May 30, residents in Wuxi participated in a big dragon boat racing one day earlier to celebrate the event.
More than 600 players from 40 teams were soaked with sweat as they endeavored to pull up the current force and got the first place while enjoying the fun of sports festivity.
It has been the second time the dragon boat racing was held in the beautiful Lihu Lake since the launch of the event last year. Though all the participants are amateur, the game level was greatly raised compared with last time while the stunning drum beat and cheering voices brightened up the intensive game.
