Though the prospect of pairing calorific pizzas with fresh aired exercise might seem a contradiction in terms, Wuxi-based pizza fanatics are unlikely to dwell on the hypocrisy of Mobike's latest promotional venture with Pizza Hut.

Wuxi became the fourth Chinese city following Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen to witness a rolling out of promotional meal deals, as Pizza Hut's Maoye location in the downtown area of the Jiangsu province city hosted the June 6 event.

Launched with the slogan "Love Mobike! Love Pizza Hut! Love Sharing!", the Shanghai-based rideshare company is looking to steer twentysomethings away from its pesky competitors, such as Ofo and Hellobike, by drawing on the similarities between Italy's favorite doughy dish and all things cycling. The commonalities being roundness, rolling, and two activities that are commonly enjoyed by millennials.

Besides the host of selective discounts for Mobike users, such as fresh chicken salad and iced tea for 40 yuan ($5.89) and a deluxe meal for two at only 148 yuan, Wuxi followers of Mobike's WeChat account have the chance to win free Pizza Hut pies.
