The first Wuxi Waxberry Festival was held in Mashan, a town in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on June 11. The yield of waxberries in Mashan this year is expected to reach 3,000 tons and will be sold through both online and offline platforms, Wuxi Daily reported on June 12.

Waxberry will be sold in Rongxiang market, Qingshan market, Daoxiang market, Zhouxin market, Luoxia market and Shuixiangyuan market. It will also be available for purchase on online platforms such as xihao99.com from June 12 to June 18. Customers can order by scanning a QR code and pick up goods in one of the six markets on the following day.

Mashan Waxberry Festival has a history of 11 years and continues to grow, partly on account of the high quality of waxberries that are grown in in Mashan, which recently won the national "one village, one quality" professional town.
