Yu Cha Lou is a teahouse built in July 2005 on the top of Xuelang Mountain. The tea produced here—Benshan Tea—was said to be the Kangxi Emperor's (1654-1722) favorite tipple when he visited Wuxi in 1699. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn] |
Xuelang Mountain is not as famous as Wuxi's Plum Garden or Turtle Head Isle (Yuantouzhu), but it's full of beautiful scenery and fascinating places to visit.
