The other six selected projects cover a range of sectors including VR image production, cosmetics, air-conditioning, 3D camera, and application program data analysis. They have received investment invitations from the judges and will represent Team Wuxi at the provincial-level competition. The other 23 entrants will either have to return to the drawing board or approach other investment opportunities.
More than simply offering financing, the provincial stage will provide the entrepreneurship projects with policy guidance and training, business schemas, and legal advice. Entrants that placed second or above will have access to a 500,000 to 1 million yuan fund if they register a company within the next half year.
Organized by the city's information and radio administration bureau and its provincial counterpart, the event looks to build a dynamic platform to foster creativity and entrepreneurship, making innovators a new engine of regional growth.
