Craig Monaghan, executive principal of the school, reiterated Dong's remarks and added that the school's establishment marks a new education cooperation model for top Chinese and British schools.

A top management and teaching team is in the process of being built, with new teachers receiving strict training this year, aligned with the requirements for teachers of Nanwai.

Founded in 1963, Nanjing Foreign Language School (Nanwai) is one of the seven oldest foreign schools in China. It focuses on quality education, respects students' distinct personalities, and creates a democratic, relaxing, harmonious, and positive education atmosphere. It now has 82 classes with total enrollment of 4,150 students. Every year, many of its students are admitted to top Chinese and overseas universities.

King's College School, established in 1829, is dedicated to holistic education. It is one of the most famous middle schools in the UK, and even the world, for its high quality academic education. About 10 percent of its graduates enter Ivy League universities including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton each year.
