Wuxi Mayor Wang Quan and Zhang Xiaobing, deputy inspector of the science and technology bureau of Jiangsu province, and related project leaders opened four institutes aimed at deep cooperation. They were the Wuxi institute of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a Wuxi new material institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, a marine equipment and ship design digital simulation application R&D center and an aviation engine numerical-controlled joint simulation laboratory.
