The cream of China's film and television industries gathered in Wuxi on Aug 31 to attend the 2017 Taihu Lake Film-Television Cultural Industry Summit.
More than 200 of the country's top film companies, 300 actors and 50 film excutives attended the summit, discussing issues such as the development of China's film and TV industries, the availability of investor capital, and the development of tie-in products.
The summit featured four main forums with speeches from celebrities including the great directors Xu Zheng, Pou-Soi Cheang, and Li Lu, as well as Ren Zhonglun, chairman of Shanghai Film Group, Jiang Ping, the CEO of China Film.
