To ensure that patients can receive prompt and appropriate treatment in Sihanoukville, a remote consulting system was constructed, under the leadership of Wuxi People's Hospital, encompassing fifty-inch-long liquid crystal display televisions, 19.5-inch-long liquid crystal desk-top computers, terminal software for video meetings, high-speed photographic apparatus, and digital cameras, among other equipment.
Meanwhile, a remote medical consulting center was built to realize real-time consultations.
The three doctors from Wuxi will now help local health workers put this equipment to good use and improve health and sanitation conditions in Sihanoukville.
