An exhibition of China's "four famous pottery styles" was held on the afternoon of Oct 25 in Yixing, Jiangsu province.
The event was held as part of the 9th China Yixing Ceramics Culture and Art Festival.
A total of 250 works made by pottery masters of the highest standard were displayed at the exhibition center.
The artworks on display were all made in the style of four of China's most famous centers for ceramics, namely Yixing, Jianshui, Qinzhou and Rongchang.
Through the exhibition, visitors could get an insight into the local characteristics, culture, history and development of each city.
The event also served as a platform for cultural exchange among ceramics connoisseurs in China.
The organizers plan to hold a series of events in each of the four cities showcased in the exhibition. The next exhibition will be held in Qinzhou, Southwest China's Guangxi province in 2018.
A benefit auction for young ceramic artists will also be held during the 9th China Yixing Ceramics Culture and Art Festival.
