The annual Huishan Flower Fair welcomes visitors to enjoy seasonal flowers in autumn for two months until the end of November at Huishan scenic spot in Wuxi.
Huishan Flower Fair, first held in 1953, displays about 600 kinds of chrysanthemum flowers every year in Huishan Ancient Town, attracting hoards of visitors to gather in Wuxi.
This year's fair exhibits over 50,000 chrysanthemum flowers and 10,000 other kinds of flowers as well as various floriculture works.
Huishan Ancient Town has a floriculture teapot as its landmark, where tea culture is performed during the fair.
The chrysanthemum flowers can be used to make tea. Chinese people have enjoyed and eaten flowers for years. Chrysanthemum tea is rich in aroma and very refreshing. It also helps to relax and relieve headache.
It is a good time to enjoy the beauty of chrysanthemum flowers at the foot of the Huishan Mountain, the scene of a bright-coloured picture of autumn.
