Sunan Shuofang International Airport in Wuxi, Jiangsu province welcomed its 800,000th entry-exit tourist of 2017 on Nov 24.

As of Nov 24, 5,318 entry-exit flights and 800,000 entry-exit tourists have passed the Wuxi Frontier Inspection Station, respectively securing 14.1 percent and 26.1 percent year-on-year growth rate.

With the rapid development of outbound tourism, there are not only more flights available from Sunan Shuofang International Airport to Hong Kong, Marco, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore, but also several charter flights to Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia have been opened.

To deal with the increase of passengers and the requirements of airport stabilization, Sunan Shuofang International Airport increased the training efforts to improve the overall quality of personnel policy implementation.

With efforts from frontline staffs, Sunan Shuofang International Airport successfully ensured the entry-exit security of important local events including 2017 World Internet of Things expo.
