The operation revenue of Wuxi’s software and information service industry achieved a year-on-year increase of 18.19 percent in 2015, while the revenue of the cloud computing industry rose by 30.93 percent. A total of 1,040 software and information service enterprises were newly registered in Wuxi and the total registered capital reached 3.35 billion yuan ($506.2 million), representing a year-on-year growth of 10.52 percent and 25.51 percent respectively.
The service outsourcing industry in Wuxi maintained a stable growth in 2015. The total amount of business contracts was $15.25 billion, which represent a year-on-year growth of 26.6 percent; the total amount of offshore contracts reached $10.1 billion dollars, increasing by 28.1 percent. A total of 72 projects got State-and-provincial-level outsourcing service support funds of 49.59 million yuan, including 29.12 million yuan of State level and 20.47 million yuan of provincial level.
