The exhibition center of Traditional Chinese Medicine built in Xinwu district of Wuxi recently opened to promote the culture and science in traditional Chinese medicine.
The exhibition center has four major functions, including medical, preventive health care, cultural and science popularization and technical training, aiming to be the base for proper technologies education and practice of traditional Chinese medicine.
Traditional Chinese medicine is a style of traditional medicine built on the foundation of more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice that includes various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage (tui na), exercise (qigong), and dietary therapy, but recently it has also been influenced by modern Western medicine.
Today's traditional Chinese medicine is the fusion of ancient diagnosis and treatment skills and modern physical therapy technologies, becoming increasingly popular and recognized worldwide.

The exhibition center is designed to be a platform for doctors to communicate and exchange ideas on the development of traditional Chinese medicine and develop more talents to further enhance the ability of Chinese medical services in Wuxi.
Various lectures and events will be held in the exhibition center with the help of texts, pictures, videos and physical specimens, in order to raise citizen's awareness of traditional Chinese medicine.
