The Yangshan Half Marathon allows participants to choose between the half marathon (21.0975 km), and mini marathon (6 km), ensuring both professional and amateur runners can take part in the event.

Last year's race was the first ever rural half marathon to be authorized by the Chinese Athletic Association to take place in Jiangsu province.
As an important part of the Yangshan International Peach Blossom Festival held from March 15 to April 15, the marathon route will pass through peach blossoms, allowing runners to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery during the event.
