The 2018 International Tower Running Grand Prix is set to take place on April 15, during the annual Wuxi Cherry Blossom Festival. Runners will race up the Wuxi IFS, the 339-meter tower located at No 99 Zhongshu Road, Liangxi district.
According to organizers, around 1,000 participants will be divided into five groups during the event, which will include competitions for teams, individuals, couples, parents and kids, and specifically firemen. The winners will receive bumper prizes.
The organizers also decided to include a scoreboard to motivate more people to participate in the race. The top 10 runners will receive an extra cash bonus.

In addition to Wuxi, the race will also later be held in Shanghai, Nanchang, Xiamen, Chongqing and Shenyang.
