Wuxi Museum launched an exhibition focusing on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on July 9, marking the first anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The exhibition, which runs at Wuxi Museum until Aug 15, is designed to promote the culture of Chinese medicine through a variety of activities including lectures, interactive exhibits, consultations and tours bringing TCM health concepts to attendees.

Huang Ye, director of Wuxi Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning's Chinese medicine department, said: "In celebration of the first anniversary of the law of TCM, Wuxi Museum will become a comprehensive platform to popularize the culture and concepts of Chinese medicine among citizens."
Over 150 students and citizens participated in the exhibition opening, learning about the TCM law, Wuxi's TCM-related intangible cultural heritages and varieties of Chinese herbal medicines. The students also made sachets of herbal medicine sachets to be used as protection against pests.
