The 13th Xu Xiake International Tourism Festival kicked off on Sept 21 in Heilan Group, Xinqiao Town, Jiangyin.
Jiangyin city in Wuxi is famous as the hometown of Xu Xiake, dubbed the Saint of Travel. The Feima Water Town of Heilan was also open to public.

Feima Water Town features European-style buildings, exotic sculptures and colorful lights that cast exciting waves over large bodies of water. With its Heilan Horse Culture Museum, Heilan Art Museum and other European-style buildings, the town whisks people away to Europe, or seems to.
A distinguishing feature of the water town is its dock for water taxis and romantic gondolas, allowing guests to look around the city from its natural element, water.
During the opening ceremony, excellent cultural innovation products featuring the character of Xu Xiake were awarded. Various scenic spots, including Huaxi village, Hongdou village, Shuangjing village and Huashan paragliding area were recommended.
As the only living horse museum in the world, the Heilan Horse Culture Museum shows 47 rare kinds of horses from over 30 countries and regions. People can watch horse shows and learn about equestrianism.
