The opening ceremony of the Xin'an branch of Wuxi People's Hospital was held in Wuxi Xinwu district on Dec 13, promoting cooperation between the district and the city's top hospital.
Over 200 governors from Wuxi and Xinwu district attended the ceremony, along with leaders of Wuxi People's Hospital. The three sides signed agreements to extend health system reform and to ensure quality medical and health resources at Wuxi People's Hospital are accessible to more citizens.

The new branch will take chronic and geriatric disease as its primary focuses, striving to become a community health center with services equal to a comprehensive second-grade hospital.
